Organ Pipes Working Bee

Updated: Jul 6, 2022

We had a great time on our first Organ Pipes working Bee (20th of Feb).

The focus was some degraded and eroded stonework at the base of After Midnight and Pleasant Screams on Flange Buttress. The Bushcare trackwork team brought the skills and expertise, and we helped them put in place a couple of belay platforms that will control erosion and support the surrounding plants in that area. We also did a bit of pruning of some overgrown parts of the approach tracks.

Big thanks to our mega vollies, Em, Lilly, Claudio, and Alex as well as the Bushcare Trackwork team Lindsay, Jerome, Pete and Logan who brought the gear, banter, skills and snacks. Looking forward to the next one later this year!
