Upper Basin Working Bee

The recent Upper Basin working bee in Cataract Gorge was a great success. A big turnout and perfect winter weather led to the swift removal of the gorse and willow in the designated area (plus rubbish removal), with most of the work done by 11am! The extra time was spent tackle Valerian and litter in an area downstream. The hardest bit of the whole day was convincing everyone to stop working and have some well-earned tea and pastries (thanks Steve!).

As always, a huge thanks to everyone who turned up, and Nicko and Steve for doing all the behind-the-scenes legwork to make it happen.
