About the event

*** Ben Lomond Working Bee ***

Date: Saturday 28th February 2026

Time: 10 am - 2:30 pm

Meet: Carr Villa car park, we will walk together from there.

Bring: Water, gloves, hat, sunscreen, sturdy shoes, long pants and your lunch. Bring a cup for a cuppa at the end.

Activities: Erosion control, stabilising tracks, pruning overgrown branches/shrubs on tracks.

Car Pool Options: Meet Pat Munnings at the St Leonards dog park (81 Station Road, St Leonards) by 09:00 am.

We'll be doing some stonework and erosion control to keep the tracks neat and tidy and prevent track-braiding. Come along and help look after this popular area on our beautiful mountain. Car pooling is encouraged. Once parked, it takes approximately 30 minutes to walk in to the works location.

To help us keep track of who's coming, please RSVP via our Wildcare page here. The annual Wildcare membership helps covers our insurance and gives us access to grants and support.

See you there!
